Young Leaders
The VOCES8 Foundation’s Young Leader Programme supports secondary school pupils aged 11-18 in learning how to lead a workshop that includes warm-ups, the VOCES8 Method and teaching songs to primary school children. The VOCES8 Foundation team helps the participants develop their leadership and teamwork skills as well as their confidence and musical skills.
In 2016 VOCES8 Foundation was asked to run a pilot Year 6 Young Leader Programme and following its success, we now also deliver Young Leader projects for children in Years 5 and 6.
VOCES8 Foundation (formerly VCM) asked Professor Sue Hallam, MBE to evaluate four of its Young Leader Programmes. You can read more about the results of the evaluation here.
