Film Location and Crew/Crowd Holding at the VOCES8 Centre

We have lots of experience helping film companies here at the VOCES8 Centre. Our beautiful space is a Grade 1 listed, Sir Christopher Wren designed church completed around 1687 with an adjoining tower dating back to the 15th Century. A fairly unique aspect of the architecture is the “Greek Cross” designed by Wren; a square within a square and one of only a few examples in a church in London.

For more information about using us as a film location do contact our Centre Manager, Jan Keliris on centre@VOCES8.foundation

Crew/SA Holding:

With a total capacity of 220 we can seat 180 comfortably/100 with tables, with room for catering, makeup and costumes. Just contact our Centre Director, Jan Keliris to discuss further or arrange a visit.

Our charity benefits hugely from such hires - your being at the Centre will allow us to put our musical outreach ensembles into disadvantaged schools in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham and further afield, so thank you very much for thinking of us!

The main space is approx 15m x 15m square, with full fast wifi along with 2 further smaller spaces ideal for AD/location staff to work in.  Download a floor plan here.

We have 200 chairs along with 10 tables. There are lots of sockets for bain maries/hot cupboards and three w.c.s which can be used by film staff but not SA’s/crowd, you will need to bring in additional facilities for them, although they can be used as child toilets if required and numbers are small enough. Capacity for the whole building is 220.
