Frederic Dittmann
Frederic N. Dittmann, CFA, Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, is responsible for managing client portfolios and serving as a member of the investment team that develops and implements investment strategy and security selection. Fred
has over 40 years of experience in the investment management industry including the management of trust accounts, family relationships, endowments and foundations.
Fred was previously a director and portfolio manager at 1838 Investment Advisors and its predecessor, Drexel Burnham Lambert Investment Advisors, where he served for over 25 years. Earlier in his career, he was a portfolio manager in the Trust and Investment Division of U.S. Trust in New York.
Fred has served on the board and various committees of The Academy of Vocal Arts for almost 30 years and is a member of the Investment Committee. Currently, he chairs the Finance Committee of the Society of the Episcopal Church for the Advancement of Christianity in Pennsylvania, serves on the Finance Committee at St. Mary’s Church in Ardmore and manages the endowment of the Alumni Board of Managers of the Episcopal Academy.
Fred attended both the Graduate Business School of New York University and the New York Institute of Finance. He earned a B.A. in American Civilization from Williams College.
