Sheridan Foster (Chair)
Sheridan is a hands-on technology executive and entrepreneur. Across her career, her teams have crafted superminicomputers and first-of-a-kind video and audio broadcast and streaming products for the professional and consumer markets at startups as well as Fortune 500 companies - IBM Research, Prime Computer, Microsoft, and Sony.
As founder of the digital media company Elemental Green, Sheridan is accelerating the adoption of healthy, economical and sustainable home building and renovation. Her company seeks to demystify green building practices, products, and benefits, for consumers and building professionals.
Sheridan has long been a passionate supporter of the performing arts at all levels and across an eclectic mix of formats and styles. As an active advisor to several startups and non-profits, she continues to give back to the technology and arts communities. Sheridan was an early board member who helped build iSing Silicon Valley Girlchoir, an international award winning choral program for young women. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at her alma mater, the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
