Alexandra Rowland
Over the last 15 years, Alexandra has worked as a fundraiser for arts organisations large and small across the UK, including the Hallé, LPO, CBSO, RLPO, Nevill Holt Opera, Spitalfields Music, the National Opera Studio and Ballet Black, as well as a role on the other side of the fence at one of the country’s largest grant-makers. She is currently Associate Head, Strategic Funding at the Royal Opera House, where she leads on fundraising for the Learning & Participation programme from a portfolio of Trusts, Foundations and statutory funders. Throughout this time, she has been a dedicated advocate for the importance of equality of access to music education, and she is looking forward to supporting the Voces8 Foundation develop their wonderful education programme and widening its funding base.
Alexandra studied Music at Christ’s College, Cambridge where she was an Organ Scholar and developed her love of choral singing and conducting. She met her husband in a choir, and is now the mummy of two little girls who love singing too.
