Cathartic confrontation of moments of loss, celebrating the beauty of life and love. This album is about giving reverence to where you find yourself now, whether it is pain or joy, rebirth or grief.

Reverence for the Moment is a continuation from my first album, Intrinsic. It shouldn’t be seen as a new beginning, but rather a feeling of being further down a similar path. The last piece in Intrinsic was ‘Spiegel im Spiegel’, a piece which I would often associate with a kind of rest and rebirth, and the theme of rest and rebirth is also present here. This album has turned into something very personal, making me much more cautious at the start of the project about what I shared. But from texts I have written, to including my own music for the very first time, I’ve taken the risk anyway. The instrumentation is different too, as I chose to use low flutes in every track on this album.
